HOUSTON – January 19, 2010

Allied Technology has completed the acquisition of the EDGE™ Desalination and Dehydration product lines from Cameron. With over 500 installations in oil refineries worldwide, the EDGE™ product is the number two leading provider of this type of specialized process equipment.

Wendell Brooks, President and CEO of Allied Technology said, “The EDGE™ product line acquisition complements our current product and service offerings that serve the downstream refinery markets. Refiners are facing an ever changing slate of crude oil mix and therefore continued development and enhancement of desalination and dehydration equipment will be required to support these issues. We are committed to the continued product and technology development to remain a leader in the desalination and dehydration markets.”

In addition to the EDGE™ product line acquisition, Allied Technology also acquired a non-exclusive license to manufacture and sell Cameron’s Dual Frequency technology for use in desalination applications.

The EDGE™ and Dual Frequency technologies will be manufactured and sold by Allied Technology’s Certified Technical Services division based in Pasadena, Texas. Mike Delamore, Executive Vice President of Certified Technical Services, said, “We are excited about the addition of the EDGE™ and Dual Frequency technology to our product offerings and look forward to continuing the development of these products. We believe that the EDGE™ and Dual Frequency technologies will continue to provide the most reliable and flexible solutions for electrical desalination and dehydration applications.”
